2025 season
MARCH 26 2025
Our family-owned u-pick orchard is excited to announce that we are anticipating an excellent crop of cherries and peaches this season thanks to the favourable weather conditions over the past few months.
The cherry and peaches trees are full of flower buds which will attract bees and other pollinators. This natural event not only brings beauty to our surroundings but also signals the arrival of a new season filled with life and growth.
We've been carefully tending the orchard, ensuring the trees are well-taken care of, pruned, and protected from pests so that you can enjoy the best quality fruit.
We expect the cherries and peaches to be ready for picking around July 1st, give or take a few days depending on the weather. So mark your calendars and plan a trip out to the orchard in early July to stock up on fresh, tree-ripened cherries and peaches straight from the branch. Bring the whole family for a fun outing in the country and the satisfaction of picking your own fruit at the peak of freshness.
We'll provide the buckets and ladders.
We look forward to seeing you at the orchard for a fruit-filled start to the summer!
Please note:
While we do not have an entrance fee, out of respect for our operation and all the hard work involved in caring for and maintaining the orchard, we strongly encourage a minimum purchase of $5 per person visiting our u-pick farm (children 12 years and younger excluded). Thank you for your understanding and cooperation.
When we are open in the fruit growing season, we expect our hours of operation to be 7 days a week from 7:00 till 18:00 for your picking pleasure. Also, fresh picked fruit will be available daily at our Farm Stand at our orchard.
With over 700 varieties, peaches are among top five most popular fruits that are grown in British Columbia, having been introduced around 1890. With low calories, peaches are good source of Vitamins A, B and C.
In China, they are considered a fruit of longevity, health and good luck.
